Tamela Mellott Heming is a graduate of the Central Fulton School District and Elizabethtown College.  She received her Juris Doctorate from the Dickinson School of Law.  Upon her graduation from Law School, she was the Clerk for the President Judge of Franklin and Fulton Counties, the Honorable John R. Walker.  She then entered the private practice of law in the Law Office of James M. Schall in McConnellsburg, where she became a partner in 2000.  Upon her election in 2012 as Magisterial District Judge, she limited her practice to Thursday afternoon and evening hours to accomodate her continuing clientele.  Upon the retiring of Mr. Schall in 2013, Attorney Heming founded the Heming Law Office.  Attorney Heming is a member of the Pennsylvania and Fulton County Bar Associations.  She has been involved in a variety of community activities including a past Board Member of Women In Need, past Board Member and Secretary of the Fulton County Medical Center, Member of the Iota Lamda Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, and a Member of Chapter 419 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
